Arriving by air

All airports are connected to the local public transport network.

Berlin-Tegel Airport

If you arrive at Berlin-Tegel Airport, continue by taxi (distance about 10 km, journey time approx. 25 min) or by local public transport:
  • Take bus X9, change to the S-Bahn at Zoologischer Garten, get off at Friedrichstrasse (journey time approx. 30 min.)
  • Take bus 128, change to the U 6 underground line (U-Bahn) at Kurt-Schumacher-Platz, get off at Friedrichstrasse (journey time approx. 30 min)
  • Take JetExpressBus (TXL), get off at Unter den Linden (corner of Friedrichstrasse) (journey time approx. 30 min.)

Berlin-Schönefeld Airport

If you arrive at Berlin-Schönefeld Airport, continue by local public transport:
  • Take Schönefeld AirportExpress (train) towards Zoologischer Garten station (via Ostbahnhof, Alexanderplatz), get off at Friedrichstrasse (journey time approx. 25 min.)
  • Take S 9 (Berlin-Schönefeld) as far as Friedrichstrasse (journey time approx. 40 min.)


Arriving by train

The closest long-distance station is the Main Station (Hauptbahnhof). Continue by S-Bahn (e.g. S 3, S 5, S 9, S 75; one stop on all lines) as far as Friedrichstrasse.
